Everyone has the right to a safe home, but not everyone has access to one. Housing shortages affect individuals and entire families, and both are ending up without safe places to live.

The lack of social rental housing support and other systemic barriers are shifting these people to the edge of society, endangering their well-being and forcing them into crisis-mode.

Nadácia DEDO (the DEDO Foundation) is providing 10 homes in Košice city for the most vulnerable population. Together with the City of Košice, we’ve created 10 flats available for long-term rent. After the recontruction work is finished in December, at-risk families will move in and finally have a safe place to live.
